Andy, Conor and Sean played for the Irish Cadet Schools team on the Isle of Man from June 30 to July 2.
It was a tough competition coming straight after Belgium and the players in general were tired and didn't play as well as at that tournament.
Still Conor went through his group and only lost two 19s to the Scottish No.1 Nicol Craig although he was probably disappointed with the result.
Andy played really well in his group matches where he had a chance to win against the Welsh No. 2 Liam Thomas but lost a close 19 in the third He played superb against the English No. 2 also and can be pleased with his performances in the team event as well
Sean didn't play so well but at the end of a long season it is difficult to always play your best and he will have plenty of other opportunities to show his best in other tournaments.
Congratulations to Eoin and Noelle who played so well in the Under 18s. Noelle won the Girls singles and Eoin was runner-up in the Boys singles
