Gavin Maguire from Eastpoint along with Shane Dolan, Keith Knox and Patrick Guy headed to Norway during their mid term break. The few days was made up of a Training Camp with the Norwegian cadets for three days and two days at the Norges Cup, a Norwegian ranking tournament.
All the players worked really hard at the training camp and it was very beneficial for all of them. They got on well with the Norwegians cadets and some fo them may be coming to Ireland for the Leinster Junior Open. The training was tough with all the players eating the right food and resting in between sessions and going to bed early so they could their best in to the training.
At the tournament Keith and Patrick got to the last 8 of the Under 13s(Gavin was beaten by Patrick in the last 16). Shane Dolan got to the last eight in the under 15s and the under 17s.
All the players enjoyed the experience and Keith certainly kept us all entertained with his wide variety of funny sayings.
