The Eastpoint team of Mark O'Flynn and Gavin Maguire played well to finish runners-up in the CYM Christmas Under 12 Team Tournament. They won all their matches 3-0 in the lead up to the final match with ALSAA.
This saw Mark take on Daniel Keenan in the first match and although Mark lost 3-1 he fought all the way. Having gone 2-0 down Mark fought back to win the next set 11-4 and in the fourth was unlucky not to have has at least a fifth set, only losing out 15-13. Then in the next match Gavin lost surprisingly 3-0 to Karl Ivory.
They then lost the doubles to go down 3-0 but both of them showed how they are promising players for the future.
