Mark finishes third in Leinster as 12s finish in top eight |

Mark O'Flynn was in fine form as he won through to the Semi finals with some exciting attacking play. In addition both Gavin Maguire and Neil O'Flynn made the quarter final stages with Gavin finishing Fifth eventually and Neil finishing Seventh. Mark and Gavin won through their group stages fairly easily and Neil finished second in his group to qualify also. In the Last sixteen round Gavin beat Michael Savage 3-1 to win through to the quarter finals. Mark meanwhile had an impressive 3-0 win over Karl Ivory. In the quarters they played the opposite way around and Mark beat Michael Savage 3-1 while Gavin lost out to Karl Ivory also 3-1. Neil had come through his second round group and faced Irish No.1 Niall McDonnell in the Quarters and played spiritedly before losing out 3-0. In the Semis Mark had an excellent game with Daniel Keenan before losing 3-1 and then going on to win the third place play-off again against Karl Ivory 3-2 this time to secure his third place finish. Gavin beat everyone in the 5-8 place playoff to finish 5th and Neil took one to finish 7th. Overall a great day for the club with both Juniors and under 12s playing very well. |
