Brian Fitzgerald wins second Ulster Open title

Brian Fitzgerald confirmed his class and his top seeding in the Ulster Open with a good win in the final over Andrew Dennison. It was a good day for Eastpoint with John Bowe in the semi finals and Damien Lynch narrowly losing out to Darryl Strong in the quarters 11-9 in the fifth in an excellent match.

Brian had victories over Tommy Caffrey and Mark Stevens on the way to the Semi final meeting with John Bowe. He won that 3-0 and went on to win the final in style against Andrew Dennison.

All the juniors went out to tough opposition Conor lost out to former Irish Junior International Brian McRandel, while John lost to Kevin Devaney.
