John and Conor head off to Italy for the Euro-Youths

Congratulations to John and Conor on their selection to the Irish Team for the European Youth Championships to be held in Italy starting on July 20. Both of them had a great season and it is fitting that they finish it off with a shot at the best in Europe.

The Junior Boys team of John, Conor, Colin Byrne and Sean Brady will face Wales, Romania and Estonia in their first round group. also travelling to Italy is a Junior Girls team of Linda O'Sullivan and Sabrina Conway and they will face Bosnia, Latvia and Cyprus. the Cadet boys team of Ross Cullen and Peter Graham face Ukraine and Switzerland.

It will be the first Irish Junior team at the Youth Championship to wear gear from the new four year contract with Stiga. the last time The team was sponsored by Stiga was fourteen years ago in Athens 1987
